Cattle sector receive funding for new research and improvements to BRM program
The federal and provincial governments announced a total of $4.5 million to support 25 new livestock and forage-related research projects in Saskatchewan through the Agriculture Development Fund (ADF). This time, the governments of Canada and Manitoba are renewing their financial support by extending for two years, for an amount of $300,000. As a reminder, the MFWP was created a few years ago to serve as an intermediary between farmers in the province and psychologists.
