The National Customs Office will apply, from 2 October, an aliquot of 0% to the Tariff Gravamen (GA) for the import of grade 100 aviation gasoline until 31 December 2027, within the framework of the validity of Supreme Decree 5729. The purpose of the provision is to facilitate the entry of this strategic fuel and to ensure its supply for aeronautical operations throughout the national territory.

On Wednesday, the Bolivian government repealed the subsidy to aviation gasoline and determined its commercialization at international prices in the midst of an adjustment to hydrocarbons that has generated unrest and protests over the recent rise in diesel.
