WASHINGTON (WCBD) – South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster will be at the Department of Homeland Security Headquarters on Wednesday to chair the first meeting of President Trump’s Homeland Security Advisory Council. The council will provide advice and recommendations to the Homeland Security secretary. It is made up of leaders from state and local government, first responders, the private sector, and academia. The meeting is set for 10 a.m.
