Gotham FC's Lilly Reale named 2025 NWSL Rookie of the Year
Earlier today, Gotham FC defender Lilly Reale was named 2025 NWSL Rookie of the Year. The 22-year-old Boston native was considered the leading candidate going into the ceremony. Reale, who joined Gotham from UCLA in January, appeared for Gotham in all 26 regular-season matches, and is a key player in a defense that allowed just 25 goals in league play.
