Google Meet Is Now Able to Translate Video Calls — What You Need to Know

Google introduced a near real-time speech translation feature for Google Meet at its 2025 I/O conference, now available in beta for AI Pro and Ultra subscribers.
The feature stems from advances in large language audio models from Google DeepMind, aiming to address language barriers in multilingual conversations across work and personal settings.
