GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCT) -- On Tuesday, Apr. 8, 2025, the Goldsboro Police Department found an unresponsive body during a welfare check. Officers with the Goldsboro Police Department and Wayne County EMS responded to a report of a welfare check at around 10:30 a.m. at 2300 E. Ash Street.
