On Tuesday 23 December, Global Relay's parcel delivery specialist was the target of a cyberattack. Personal customer data was stolen. If no banking information was compromised, the company acknowledged a significant leak and seized the Cnil.
This morning, some customers of Mondial Relay were able to find out on their mailbox that the company had been the victim of a cyberattack on December 23rd. The company assures that "no bank data" has been subdued.
Personal information that may have been stolen does not concern banking data, but many accounts receivable may have been affected.
Information on the identity of the customers as well as the traceability elements of the parcels would have been compromised. Payment methods and bank details were protected, according to the company which indicated that it had lodged a complaint.
