The national chain restaurant announced in June 2024 it would open in Madison County IL. Village trustees will take the first steps at the November 26 meeting.

Glen Carbon Receives Petitions for Spring Elections

by Kathy Turner The Village of Glen Carbon received six petitions for offices in the Village by the filing deadline. Elections will be held in April 2025. Submitting a petition for Mayor was Bob Marcus, the incumbent mayor. Kathy Perry-Scaturro submitted a petition to renew her position as Village Clerk. Submitting petitions for Village Trustee – to fill three positions – were David Rands, Ben Maliszewski, Brentsen Wolf and Brian Paul.
