Glasgow Film Festival 'here to stay' as 2026 line-up revealed
The 22nd Glasgow Film Festival will showcase 126 films from 44 countries, featuring 16 world premieres and opening and closing with films shot in Glasgow.
- On February 25, Glasgow Film Festival opens its 22nd edition, running until March 8, 2026, with Felipe Bustos Sierra’s Everybody to Kenmure Street and James McAvoy’s California Schemin' closing the event.
- Paul Gallagher, Head of Programme at Glasgow Film Festival, is staging his first edition after Allison Gardner retired and worked with Chris Kumar and advisors to assemble the event in months.
