Girls Wrestling Results: SWAT at Northwest Invite

(Waukee, IA) — SWAT finished in 12th place in the huge Northwest Invitational girls wrestling tournament on Saturday hosted by Waukee Northwest. Stella Beattie for SWAT suffered her first loss of the season to Amalia Djournessi of Waverly Shell Rock by fall in 46 seconds.  Djornessi is the defending 2A state champion at 170 pounds.  Beattie went 3-1 overall with 3 falls to finish in 3rd place.
