Giant, Free-Floating Planets May Form Their Own Planetary Systems

INTERSTELLAR SPACE, AUG 4 – Researchers observed eight young free-floating planets with masses 5–10 times Jupiter's using JWST, finding infrared emissions that indicate planet-forming disks around six of them.
