Getting Close to the Ocean: Water Safety Education From an Early Age

The Kaohsiung City Government, in collaboration with the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, held an open water safety education and experiential activity for Kaohsiung youth in the Wulintou waters of Yong'an District on July 26 and 27. Professionally trained "TTT Open Water Safety Seed Teachers" led 89 students from 45 schools to learn risk assessment, self-rescue skills, and rescue techniques in an entertaining way.
