In an interview with TV3's "Els matins", the Minister of Economy sees it as feasible from 2026, when part of the FLA debt has been erased.

The Generalitat achieved the current surplus last year (without taking into account the financial costs) for the first time since 2007 in full housing bubble. That means that if the interest payments for the debt are not counted, the Generalitat obtained more income than expenses.
