Garmin to launch new marathon in Durham next spring

Durham will host a new Garmin Marathon on May 2, starting at the American Tobacco Campus and finishing at Duke’s Wallace Wade Stadium. The Boston-qualifying race is part of Garmin’s new three-city series, alongside Tucson and Toledo, and will include 5K, 10K and half-marathon options. The two-day event will double as an expo for Garmin’s smartwatch and fitness technology.
