Gananoque legion celebrates Scotland’s Bard in style

With a skirl of the bagpipes and a roll on the snare, the celebratory haggis was proudly marched into the hall for all to enjoy as about 80 people in Gananoque celebrated Robbie Burns Day at the Royal Canadian Legion (RCL) Branch 92 on Jan. 18. Tartans and plaids were out in abundance as everyone paid honour to Scotland’s Bard in celebration of what would have been his 267th birthday.
