- Function aims to unify labs, imaging, wearables, and records into doctor-guided Medical Intelligence, lowering its annual membership to $365 to support access to more than 160 lab tests.
- The MI model is trained by doctors who stay involved, and members get Private AI Chat, Protocols, and Upload Health Records; Function says it meets HIPAA compliance and encrypts user data.
- Function plans to expand from 75 to nearly 200 locations, with support from a $298 million oversubscribed Series B led by Redpoint Ventures, raising total capital to $350 million.
- With mainstream adoption evidenced by more than 50 million lab tests since 2023, Function frames the challenge as an eight-billion-person problem and was recently named a TIME100 Most Influential Company.
