City leaders greenlight record-breaking $2.3 billion budget

The Fresno City Council on Tuesday unanimously approved a $2.3 billion budget for the 2026 fiscal year, a record-breaking high once again despite some decreasing revenues.  A unique aspect of this year’s budget is Mayor Jerry Dyer’s $100 million bond for paving roads at an accelerated pace over the next couple years.
