Free car safety seat check in Rome on May 20

A free car safety seat check will be held at the Oneida County Airport on Hangar Road in Rome from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, May 20, according to Oneida County officials. A second free car safety seat check will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on June 26 at the Deerfield Fire Department on Trenton Road in Utica. The safety seat events will be hosted by the county Health Department and Sheriff's Office.
