Bank employees and off-duty Richmond Heights officer prevent scams of two elderly people in the city

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Security at the Huntington Bank on Wilson Mills Road requested officers respond to the business March 7 because they had an elderly customer present who they believed was being scammed.The woman was attempting to withdraw $14,000 from her account and employees believed that somebody was waiting outside for her.

Criminals regularly impersonate bank employees, investment brokers, and even police officers.
