The Prime Minister escaped on Tuesday night from the text tabled by the Socialists, as the deputies of the National Rally chose not to vote it. The budgetary debates of the beginning of the year announced decisive for the future of the government.
The motion received 189 votes out of the 289 necessary to overthrow the government. The National Rally announced that it would not vote on it, referring possible censorship to the budget debates in the fall.
