French society has been thrown into turmoil after bodycam footage was released showing a police officer belonging to a far-right party spewing xenophobic and misogynistic remarks for six hours. The daily Midi Libre reported on the 9th (local time) that it had obtained bodycam footage filmed by a 50-year-old patrol team leader at the Carcassonne police station while patrolling the city last November.
