Pesticide levels in food ‘not dangerous’ to humans

The EFSA's new report into pesticides in food suggests that European consumers have nothing to worry about.

FPSA - EFSA Report: Risk from Pesticide Residues in Europe Remains Low

EFSA analyzed thousands of samples collected in 2023 from commonly consumed products. Maximum residue levels (MRLs) were exceeded in 2% of samples, of which 1% were non-compliant after taking into account the measurement uncertainty.
