- Amid a push to diversify beyond phones, Foxconn Technology Group aims to grow its cloud computing platform and speed development of the Group's three smart platforms.
- Targeted at 100 megawatts, the centre will be built in phases with some planned for Kaohsiung, Taiwan, starting with 20 megawatts then adding another 40, Chairman Young Liu said.
- Profit rose 27% to $1.47 billion in the second quarter of 2025, driven by strong demand for AI servers and sustained iPhone production, Foxconn said.
- Nvidia announced plans to build a massive AI supercomputer in Taiwan with Foxconn Technology Group, TSMC, and the government, while on June 20 Foxconn also revealed new supercomputer manufacturing facilities in Houston.
