CityFibre has confirmed that its founder and chief executive officer, Greg Mesch, is to step down for personal reasons. The company has announced he will be replaced as CEO by the current Chief Operating Officer Simon Holden. Mesch has led CityFibre for 15 years during which time the alternative broadband network has grown to reach over 4.5 million premises and 700,000 customers.
