The Netherlands imposes two fines for more than EUR 1.1 million on Fortnite for manipulating minors to spend money.
Epic Games, the creator of the popular game "Fortnite," must indeed pay a €1.13 million fine in the Netherlands for manipulating children. A judge has ruled this. Epic Games had appealed the fine from the Dutch market watchdog, the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM), but was unsuccessful.
According to the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets, children are manipulated into spending money in the game.
