Fort McMurray Heritage Society avoids becoming history amidst financial problems, RCMP investigation

The Fort McMurray Heritage Society (FMHS) has dodged becoming history for now after council voted to cover its operational budget for the next three months. However there are concerns the organization’s financial problems will need more time to resolve. The organization is also being investigated by Wood Buffalo RCMP for alleged internal fraud.
