- Acting on a tip-off about an alleged drug party, officers reached the Moinabad farmhouse at around 10 p.m. on Saturday and found a party held without permission.
- Seized items included roughly 2 gm of cocaine along with a firearm, and urine tests confirmed five people who tested positive were sent for additional sample tests.
- Police registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and police investigators continue further investigation and searches, with legal action to be taken after reports and results.
- During the raid, attendees allegedly resisted and refused to identify themselves or provide urine samples, a scuffle with security staff led to two rounds fired into the air, and the farmhouse was previously linked to an alleged BRS MLAs poaching case.
