The former chief operating officer of a behavioral healthcare company was sentenced to prison for a scheme to defraud healthcare benefit programs, United States Attorney Leah Foley’s office said. U.S. District Court Judge Allison D. Burroughs sentenced Miguel Saravia, 42, of Hanson, to three and a half months in prison, followed by one year of supervised release. She ordered Savaria to pay $561,141.89 in restitution.
