On October 31, the case of Yang Zixing, former vice governor of Gansu Province, for accepting bribes and abusing his influence to accept bribes was sentenced. The Weinan Intermediate People's Court of Shaanxi Province sentenced him to 13 years in prison for accepting bribes and 7 years in prison for abusing his influence to accept bribes. After the sentences are combined, he will serve a total of 14 years in prison and be fined 5 million yuan.
