The clarification came after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) questioned how the BJP MP's name was added after the list for the concerned polling part showed 746 voters and sought an explanation from the Election Commission on the process followed.
The Delhi Chief Electoral Officer's office stated that Raghav Chadha filed Form 6 for the Rajinder Nagar seat on August 26, which was approved after a seven-day notice period on September 2. The Aam Aadmi Party has described this as a backdoor addition and expressed fears of political pressure.
