European Championship : DFB praises record premium for women's national team

The German Football Association doubles the premiums for the women's football national team for the European Championships in the summer. The title win would also be financially worthwhile for the players. Compared to the men, however, the amount seems almost modest.

Twice as high as the most recent European Championship: German women footballers would earn a record prize in the event of an EM title. However, "Equal Pay" cannot be mentioned.

Germany's women's national football team will get record-breaking extras if they win this year's European Championship in Switzerland. According to the German Football Association DFB, each player will receive 120,000 euros for the title of champion.
