The Flossmoor village board approved the purchase of a new Rosenbauer fire engine at the Dec. 15 board meeting. Assistant Fire Chief Matt Berk informed the trustees that the $1,002,813 purchase from Sentinel Emergency Solutions is being budgeted in FY 2028-29, but agreeing to the purchase now will save on expected cost increases.
