- The top 25 ski racers in the world, including Mikaela Shiffrin and Lindsey Vonn, have arrived in Sun Valley for the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, set to begin on March 22 and run through March 27.
- Due to excessive snow, training for the downhill event was postponed from Thursday to Friday.
- The races will feature competition in four disciplines: downhill, super G, giant slalom, and slalom, and will also serve as qualifiers for the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics.

First downhill training in Sun Valley canceled
The downhill riders still have to wait for the first ride of the route in Sun Valley/Idaho. The first trainings of men and women scheduled for Thursday were cancelled. According to the World Federation FIS, after "heavy snowfall" a lot of work was necessary on the "Challenger"-called slope on the Bald Mountain. From Saturday the first races of the World Cup final are on the agenda.
