The official review of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Bucharest-Ilfov (ISUBIF) shows the extent of the phenomenon: more than 1,400 interventions only in Bucharest, until Wednesday at 08:30.

The violent storm that hit Bucharest last night left behind an impressive assessment of the damage and revealed the vulnerabilities of the capital's infrastructure. In just ten hours, nearly 70 litres of water fell on the square metre, equivalent to the average amount of precipitation in a month, and the sewage system failed.
