Finland’s inflation slows slightly to 1.9 percent in June
Consumer prices in Finland rose by 1.9 percent in June compared to the same month last year, according to preliminary data from Statistics Finland. The harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP) shows a slight decrease from May, when the annual inflation rate stood at 2.0 percent. Health care costs recorded the highest annual increase, rising by 7.3 percent. Alcoholic beverages and tobacco followed with a rise of around 4 percent.
