Siklósi was fired from the public media after the change of government. The failed government party is nominating László Szabó to the Media Council, while one of the candidates from Mi Hazánk is Zoltán Moys, who also organized the Eruption Memorial Tour.
The opposition party's parliamentary faction is nominating László Szabó, a deputy state secretary in the first Orbán government, as a member of the media council.
All opposition parties have nominated their candidates for the Independent Public Media Board and the National Media and Communications Council.
Fidesz would install Beatrix Siklósi, who was fired from public media, in the new supervisory board - Our Country and the KDNP have also named their candidates.
The seven-member media council also includes three members nominated by the ruling party and three by the opposition parliamentary groups, and the position of chairman is filled through a competition.
