Brothers Accused of Using Fake Companies to Extort Ferndale Business Owners, AG Says

FERNDALE, MICHIGAN, JUL 9 – The lawsuit alleges two men formed 17 fake companies to extort Ferndale businesses through false legal claims, demanding fees up to $500 an hour, officials said.

Two brothers allegedly formed fake LLCs copying Ferndale businesses to harass owners and demand money, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel says.
