Felony charges filed against suspect accused of fleeing Westlake, Bay Village police

Bay Village police officers at 6:36 p.m. on Sept. 18 pursued a stolen Buick sedan along Dover Center Road in Bay Village into Westlake. Bay Village officers soon called off their chase, but Westlake officers spotted the car driving recklessly and “short-cutting” the intersection of Dover Center and Detroit Road by driving through a car wash parking lot, according to a Westlake Police Department press release.
