The Centre has increased the support price of wheat. With an increase of Rs. 25 for the 2027-28 Rabi marketing year, the price has reached Rs. 2,615 per quintal. It has also increased the prices of pulses and oilseeds by up to Rs. 675 per quintal. The price of wheat per quintal for the 2026-27 Rabi marketing year (April to March) was Rs. 2,585.
