NEW YORK — President Donald Trump’s administration announced on Tuesday, January 6, the freezing of federal subsidies for certain child care and family care programs including in New York. This due to concerns about “widespread fraud,” announced the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, also known as HHS. Funds have also been frozen in California, Colorado, Illinois, and Minnesota. The five affected states are led by Democrats.
