In order to ensure that there are no foods using artificial dyes in the United States in 2026, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced on Tuesday, April 22, a measure that "de facto suppresses all petroleum-derived food dyes in the United States," as announced by the president of the institution Marty Makary, at a press conference together with Health Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr.
