UK, France and 23 other countries call for an immediate end to war in Gaza
FRANCE, JUL 21 – Twenty-five nations condemned Israel's aid delivery as dangerous and called for lifting restrictions after more than 800 Palestinians were killed seeking humanitarian aid, officials said.
- On Monday, July 21, 2025, twenty-five countries including Britain, France and other European nations issued the declaration, calling on Israel to end the Gaza war and comply with international law.
- On Oct. 7, 2023, an attack by Hamas militants in southern Israel killed around 1,200 people and took 251 as hostages, leading to the war's outbreak.
