Away fans are welcome in Volendam on Thursday after all for the play-off match between Ajax and FC Groningen. This is the outcome of a meeting on Tuesday morning between the municipality of Edam-Volendam and the police, among others.
The KNVB has requested Mayor Rick Beukers of the municipality of Edam-Volendam on Monday afternoon to reconsider the decision to ban away fans from the Ajax-FC Groningen play-off match.
