Near exit 18 in the town of New Paltz, a fatal motorcycle crash occurred on the Thruway at around 7:43am on Tuesday, May 27, according to New York State Police. Police say Martin T. Muller, 62, of Mahopac, was riding a 2009 Harley-Davidson when it suffered a rear tire blow-out as he traveled north on I87.
