Faster Horses raise funds for flood relief

Saturday, country band The Faster Horses (above), in an effort to raise funding took over the Clay County Fairgrounds, hosted a Flood Relief Festival which included a free concert by the band to close the evening on the Northwest Bank stage. Faster Horses lead singer Eli Alger performed at the “The Flood,” a song he wrote in 15 minutes on the side of the road on a challenge from a Spencer-area friend following last June’s flood.
