With short-term rentals, which are typically defined as a property rental of less than 30 days, as a relatively new concept, regulations have not yet been placed on them in Faribault. However, the Faribault City Council is looking to change that. In a prior work session, the topic of registration and regulation of short-term rentals came up as an issue for the city to pursue.
