Woman dies, husband injured in construction accident at Fairfax County home: police

A woman is dead, her husband was injured and a community is mourning after a tragic construction accident in Fairfax County.

A couple from Falls Church, Virginia, died on Sunday after their vehicle left the road, crashed into a tree, and caught fire, police reported. Ashraf Bhagat, 75, died at the crash site at Lakeview Drive, Lake Barcroft, around 6:30 p.m., Fairfax County police reported in a statement on Monday.
