Feds arrest ex-Iguala police officer in Ayotzinapa 43 case

Authorities Tuesday arrested Rey Flores, who they say has ties to the Guerreros Unidos cartel believed to have abducted 43 students in 2014.

One person was arrested in Iguala, Guerrero, for the crimes of organized crime and enforced disappearance. It is presumed that he is involved in the disappearance of the 43 students from Ayotzinapa, on September 26 and 27, 2014.

Rey Flores, 'El Negro', former municipal police linked to Ayotzinapa case, was arrested in an operation in the Municipality of Iguala, Guerrero.

The recent arrest of the former municipal police of Iguala, Rey Flores, El Negro, linked to the Ayotzinapa case, “helps nothing in the investigation”, as it did not provide any new evidence, said relatives of the 43 missing students.
