Faber Lashes Out at Coalition Partners: 'Not Everyone Is in Cooperative Mode'

Asylum Minister Marjolein Faber (PVV) has lashed out at coalition partners VVD and NSC before the start of the Council of Ministers, who earlier this week accused her of having shown few results. She said that NSC 'lives in a paper reality' and that the VVD, after more than ten years in government, 'is wearing far too big a pair of pants' on migration.

Minister Marjolein Faber of Asylum and Migration is under fire. Not only from the opposition, but also within her own coalition. VVD and NSC are critical of the pace at which the PVV minister is implementing her strict asylum plans. Faber herself points to others. "I cannot say that everyone is in cooperation mode," she said to NOS on Wednesday after the cabinet meeting.
