EY: Foreign Investment at 2022 Level
The number of foreign investments in Austria increased by 31 percent in 2024 from 80 to 105 projects. The number of projects has thus stabilised at the level of 2022. Austrian companies invested primarily in Germany, the UK and Bosnia. The most important countries of origin for Austrian investments were Germany, Switzerland and the USA, according to a study by the US consulting company EY.
